Driving Directions to Whitehall

Directions from Boston:

Take Rt. 24 South to Fall River.
In Fall River briefly merge with I-195.
Take exit 8A from I-195 (Newport) - Still on 24 South.
Approximately 10 miles later in Portsmouth take Exit 1 "Newport Beaches".
Turn right at the end of the ramp and continue about 1 mile to a set of lights.
Turn right at the light (CVS on the right).
This puts you on East Main Road (Route 138).
Approximately 5 miles later you will see "Chaves Gardens Nursery and Newport Winery" - Get in the left lane. Take your next left just after the vineyard (45 degree angle left turn just before the Mobil Station).
Take this road (Turner Road) to the end - Turn Left.
Go about a half mile.
Turn left into Whitehall Farm.

Directions from Providence or T. F. Green:

Take 95 South.
Keep left to take Route 4 South via exit 9 towards North Kingstown.
Go about 10 miles.
Merge onto Tower Hill Road / Route 1 South - about half mile later, exit right onto RI-138 towards Newport and Jamestown.
Go over the Jamestown and Newport Bridges.
Follow directions from Newport Bridge.

Directions from New York:

Take 95 north through Connecticut and into Rhode Island.
In RI, take Exit 3 ( 138 East to Newport).
Stay on 138 East, a long winding road through rural RI for about 15 miles.
Take a left onto Route 1 North (still on 138) and about 3 miles later you will exit off of Route 1 to Newport/Jamestown (still on 138).
Continue over the Jamestown Bridge and the Newport Bridge (still on 138).
Follow directions from Newport Bridge.

Directions from the Newport Bridge:

When you cross over the Newport Bridge, take the RI-138 ramp towards "Fall River/Cape Cod".
After curving to the left, the ramp curves sharply to the right - stay in the left lane.
This will leave you at a traffic light facing the entrance to the Newport Grand.
At the traffic light, turn left onto Admiral Kalbfus Rd/RI-138 - go up the hill.
You will go through a total of four traffic lights:
Go through Light 1.
Go though Light 2 - a Dominos Pizza is on the far left and a Sunoco station on the far right. Admiral Kalbfus changes to Miantonomi Ave.
You will come to a very steep down hill.
A stop sign is at the bottom of the hill and Miantonomi Ave changes to Green End Avenue - The reservoir will be on the right.
Go though Light 3 at the corner of Green End and Valley Road.
Go up the hill through Light 4 at the corner of Green End and Aquidneck Ave.
There is a 7-11 Store on the left and Sandy's Liquor Store on the far right - Continue up the hill.
On the left, you will pass 4 intersections (Honeyman Ave, Harvey Rd, Turner Rd, and Berkeley CT.
Shortly after, you will pass the Middletown Senior Center and a baseball field, both on the left.
The entrance for Whitehall Farm Condominiums (Corey Lane) is the next road on the left.
